I hope you are all having a lovely lead up to Christmas and that you are filled with Holiday Cheer?!
I know I am, but it could also be the amount of alcohol I've had over the last weekly so - at this point it is actually hard to tell... Jokes!
Anyways, I wanted to drop by to share some wrapping tips with you today. I've always been complimented on my crisp corners and my attention to detail: last year I was even asked to wrap gifts for one of my colleagues in work, and I was more than happy to oblige.
Personally, I like gift wrap to be simple, stylish and rustic. 9 times out of 10 I use brown paper as a base, and then tags, twine and ribbons to change the look. My family is never in doubt which pressies are from me, and I quite like that - it's my own signature look.
I came across this step by step guide on diyjoy.com - which you should totally check out btw! It shows every step clearly, and you'll not be able to get it wrong after watching the short clip! And it's really quick as well - you'll not have a Love Actually moment, I promise.
You'll be the master of wrapping in only 5 simple steps:
1. Cut paper to size
2. Secure the edge with double sided edge
3. Make your "corner creases"
4. Secure with tape
5. Follow step 3-4 on the other side
See, I told you - simples!
Once you've mastered this basic technique, we can move on to other shapes and styles, there's lots to learn..
