I hope you have all had a lovely festive season?
I certainly have, and although I hate letting go of Christmas, I am now mentally preparing myself for returning to the real world, setting goals for 2017 and embracing all the opportunities that 2017 will have to offer.
However, we are not quite there yet - thankfully. I've got a few more days of watching Sherlock, wandering around the house in PJs and eating chocolate for breakfast.
As I am now stocking the shop with washi tape, I realise that my own collection is rather getting out of hand. I seem to be using washi tape for the same old things and naturally turned to Pinterest for ideas, which I thought I would share with you.
Sharing is caring!
So easy - so effective: all you need is washi tape, a pencil and a knife or scissors.
Just make your desired pattern with your washi tape around a print directly on the wall, and voila - you've got yourself a picture frame that doesn't need you to drill a hole.
Tape some washi onto a tooth pick etc and cut out triangles at the end, and you've got yourself a little flag that can be used as a cake topper, part of gift wrap or even a place card to mention a few.
Ideal for students, journal addicts or frantic organisers alike!
Use the feathers for for decoration, bookmarks, costumes etc.
So there you have it - 5 very simple DIYs using washi tape.
I'd love to hear from you in the comments if you have suggestions or tips for how to use washi tape!
See you next time,
